Hillside Elementary School - New Richmond, WI
The new elementary school in New Richmond, Wisconsin, has an area of approximately 78,000 square-feet and consists of twenty-four classrooms. The building will be used for kindergarten through fifth grades, which is around 525 students. Hanson Masonry & Concrete, LLC's scope of work included masonry and fluid-applied air-barrier.

This 290,000 square foot facility is the largest contract Hanson Masonry & Concrete, LLC has been awarded to date. "The two-level building will initially accomodate 1,500 students, but is designed to have a future expansion capacity to accommodate 2,000 students. With solid core materials of concrete floors, masonry walls and a brick exterior, the new building is a blend of traditional materials and modern style."1 Hanson's began work on this project in June of 2008, and the grand opening for the new high school is scheduled for October 2, 2010. Our scope of work for this project included concrete, masonry, and fluid-applied air-barrier.
